You'll work directly with seasoned professionals safeguarding multi-million dollar equity options platforms while building expertise in SOC operations, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM dashboards for suspicious activity on trading systems
- Assist in investigating potential breaches and participating in tabletop exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain audit trails for financial compliance
- Conduct vulnerability scans on trading applications and network infrastructure
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to SEC and FINRA regulations
- Participate in security awareness training for financial operations staff
- Stay current on emerging threats targeting financial markets and equity options
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, encryption)
- Interest in financial markets and derivatives trading concepts
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced financial environments
- Relevant certifications (Security+, CEH) preferred but not required
- Must pass background check for financial industry compliance
