Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading platforms using SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Conduct real-time incident response to security alerts during active market hours
- Implement and maintain zero-trust architecture for trading systems and data pipelines
- Perform vulnerability assessments on financial applications and third-party integrations
- Develop security playbooks specific to options trading operations and market manipulation threats
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to SEC and FINRA regulations
- Lead forensic investigations of security incidents involving financial data
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with specific focus on financial services or trading platforms
- Expertise in network security, threat detection, and incident response protocols
- Deep understanding of equity options trading mechanics and market microstructure
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification with financial sector specialization
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (SOX, PCI DSS, FINRA rules)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
