Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data and perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations.
- Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within large datasets.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a part-time or freelance capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of Tableau or Power BI.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a strong attention to detail.
