Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business strategy.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract specific data subsets and support ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance summaries to management.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role. Part-time experience is acceptable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Programming: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to translate data into business insights.
- Reliability: Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines within a part-time capacity.
