Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform routine network audits, security updates, and capacity planning to prevent downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues and hardware failures.
- Install, configure, and maintain cabling infrastructure, including fiber and copper cabling.
- Monitor network traffic and system performance to identify potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
- Document all network configurations, changes, and technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, or PRTG).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
