Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations (using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel) to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business metrics and progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, and finance) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to assist in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset and the ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data.
- Schedule: Ability to commit to a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week) with some flexibility for project deadlines.
