Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time SIEM systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide support for penetration testing activities.
- Enforce robust security policies and ensure compliance with GDPR and HIPAA standards.
- Deliver security awareness training to staff members on best practices.
- Investigate security breaches, analyze logs, and prepare comprehensive incident reports.
- Manage and configure firewall rules and endpoint protection solutions.
- Collaborate with the full-time team to patch vulnerabilities and remediate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and database security.
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or CrowdStrike.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly.
- Current active Top Secret security clearance is a plus.
