Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to ensure network integrity.
- Enforce company security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, NIST, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement robust security solutions and patch management.
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Train junior staff on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Active Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain) is highly preferred.
- Relevant certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network security or information security.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings.
