Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks and applications.
- Support the Incident Response team during security breaches, documenting findings and coordinating remediation efforts.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Provide security awareness training to staff members to reduce human error and phishing risks.
- Perform log analysis and forensic investigations to identify the root cause of security incidents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certification preferred: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, or CrowdStrike.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if applicable).
