We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Part-Time Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will collaborate with our global security operations center to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate threats, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- Manage and configure security appliances, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development and deployment practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, and Nessus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work part-time (approx. 20-25 hours per week) with a flexible schedule.
