Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Incident response coordination for security breaches
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks)
- Assist with security awareness training for employees
- Perform network and endpoint security configuration reviews
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of cybersecurity experience (part-time or internship acceptable)
- CompTIA Security+ or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Nmap, Wireshark)
- Basic understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid U.S. work authorization required
