Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Document security incidents and coordinate incident response protocols
- Develop threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Implement security controls to mitigate zero-day vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or security engineering
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week with flexible scheduling
- Excellent written communication for security documentation
