Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS/Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through continuous monitoring and automation
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies, network security groups, and encryption
- Support CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects
- Document architecture decisions and maintain cloud runbooks
- Provide after-hours on-call rotation support (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS/Azure and cloud architecture
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, load balancing)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Security certifications (Security+, CCSP, or equivalent) preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Local candidates or those willing to relocate to Louisville preferred
