Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Systems: Track and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response Support: Assist in the investigation and resolution of minor security incidents and vulnerability reports.
- Log Management: Review system logs and reports to ensure compliance with internal security policies.
- Security Awareness: Educate team members on best practices for digital hygiene and phishing awareness.
- Compliance Reporting: Compile and submit weekly security status reports to management.
- Software Updates: Assist in the deployment of patches and updates to prevent system vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings.
- Passion for Security: A genuine interest in cybersecurity trends and a willingness to pursue certifications (we support training).
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
