Responsibilities
- Network Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling systems to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor network traffic and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or downtime issues.
- Security Implementation: Enforce cybersecurity protocols, manage access controls, and conduct regular audits to protect sensitive data.
- Technical Support: Provide tier-2 technical support to end-users and assist in resolving network-related hardware and software problems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting logs.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade network infrastructure and integrate new software solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
- Remote Work Capability: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office environment.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
