Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
- Assist in the triage and investigation of potential security incidents and threats.
- Conduct routine log analysis to identify suspicious activity and anomalies.
- Support the implementation of security patches, updates, and configuration changes.
- Participate in phishing simulations and help maintain a culture of security awareness.
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate security logs for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with internal policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and internet protocols.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
