Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices in Python/Go for high-throughput data pipelines
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP during low-traffic windows
- Lead incident response for production systems during shift hours
- Mentor junior engineers via asynchronous documentation and standups
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with company tech stack
- Automate CI/CD pipelines for 24/7 deployment readiness
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems or backend development
- Proficiency with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform, Lambda)
- Strong debugging skills for production-level issues
- Experience with async communication patterns (gRPC, WebSockets)
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
