Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate potential security incidents and document findings
- Perform vulnerability scans and assist with remediation efforts
- Collaborate with network teams to implement security controls
- Participate in phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training
- Assist with compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Document security procedures and incident response plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with common security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit)
