As a weekend shift specialist, you'll work collaboratively in our hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Our Columbus-based operations serve clients nationwide, including New York, offering you a unique blend of local support and national reach.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security protocols across cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incidents
- Document security incidents and create comprehensive incident reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with weekend shift exposure
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security architectures
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid US driver's license for occasional on-site requirements
