Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-availability backend services using Java/Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP
- Collaborate with global teams during overlapping hours (4PM-8PM EST)
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Lead code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence
- Participate in agile ceremonies during day shift transitions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks
- AWS/GCP certification or equivalent cloud expertise
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong problem-solving skills and system design capabilities
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
