Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java, Python, and AWS cloud services
- Lead code reviews and pair programming sessions with distributed agile teams
- Optimize database performance for high-transaction financial systems
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement responsive web interfaces
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust error handling
- Mentor junior engineers through our peer-to-peer learning program
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of production software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and cloud deployment
- Experience with version control (Git) and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with debugging complex systems
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Preferred: AWS/Azure certification or DevOps experience
