Responsibilities
- Execute complex ETL processes and data cleaning tasks using SQL and Python to ensure data integrity across the night shift.
- Design and develop interactive Tableau and Power BI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive leadership.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to translate business requirements into actionable data models and technical specifications.
- Generate detailed weekly and monthly analytical reports, highlighting critical insights and forecasting future trends.
- Maintain and optimize database queries to improve report generation speed and accuracy.
- Act as a subject matter expert on data quality standards and governance protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a 24/7 operational environment.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shift hours.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
