Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for 24/7 threat detection and incident response during night shift
- Conduct forensic analysis of security alerts and coordinate with incident response teams
- Implement vulnerability management protocols for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to patch critical vulnerabilities overnight
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive leadership
- Proactively hunt for emerging threats using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Participate in red team exercises during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Valid Arizona driver's license for occasional on-site rotations
