Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols and ensure network compliance
- Document network configurations and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve system outages
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone and remote access
- Perform network upgrades and capacity planning
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call duty
