Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues
- Implement network monitoring tools and proactive maintenance protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades and security compliance
- Document network configurations, changes, and technical procedures
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to end-users
- Manage network access controls and security protocols
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency with Cisco routers, Juniper switches, and Fortinet firewalls
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred
