Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Implement and maintain network security protocols (VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Document network changes, configurations, and incidents in ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex connectivity issues
- Perform network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated network incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS/Juniper Junos and enterprise switching/routing
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotation
