Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Implement network security protocols and monitor for vulnerabilities
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance schedules
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to end-users
- Collaborate with IT teams on network upgrades and expansion projects
- Monitor network performance and optimize bandwidth usage
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and support
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer service abilities
- Valid Nevada driver's license for occasional client site visits
