Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and proactively resolve outages
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and security protocols to ensure network integrity
- Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network integration projects
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related user issues
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/JNCIA certification or equivalent expertise
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN implementation
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela/Palo Alto Prisma)
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to lift 50lbs for equipment installation
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
