Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents
- Optimize network performance through regular maintenance and upgrades
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco and Juniper devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network virtualization (VMware NSX)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site visits
