Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues in real-time
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal network performance
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to resolve complex network incidents
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid Missouri driver's license for occasional site visits
