Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments using observability platforms (Datadog, CloudWatch)
- Implement security best practices (IAM, encryption, compliance frameworks)
- Troubleshoot complex cloud incidents and performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS)
- Document architecture decisions and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong foundational knowledge of Linux/Windows systems administration
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in agile teams
- Passion for cloud technologies and continuous learning
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred
