Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and resolve outages within SLA targets
- Implement and troubleshoot VPN, VLAN, and wireless network solutions
- Document network topology, changes, and security protocols using ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to integrate Azure/AWS hybrid environments
- Perform hardware upgrades and migrations with zero downtime
- Lead network security audits and vulnerability remediation
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN protocols
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Palo Alto firewalls
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and ping/trace utilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours for maintenance windows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
