Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG, resolving issues proactively
- Implement and troubleshoot VPN solutions, VLANs, and WAN/LAN connectivity
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security protocols and patch management
- Document network configurations and create/update technical documentation
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for network outages and performance bottlenecks
- Assist in network capacity planning and technology refresh initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Juniper Junos
- Strong analytical skills for complex network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
