Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, security incidents, and connectivity issues
- Implement and manage VPN solutions for secure remote access
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud services (AWS/Azure) for hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network troubleshooting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise network administration
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Experience with network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written communication for remote collaboration
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and SD-WAN solutions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
