Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and optimize Cisco/Juniper network hardware and virtual infrastructure
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and proactively resolve outages
- Implement security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex network issues across hybrid environments
- Collaborate with cloud teams on AWS/Azure network integration projects
- Lead network upgrades and migrations with zero-downtime methodologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent industry certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark, ping, and traceroute
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
