Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions with minimal downtime
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate system documentation
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network policies and protocols
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network problems
- Manage VPN connections and remote access solutions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with network monitoring and security tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call duty
