Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine network audits, security checks, and performance tuning.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network hardware and software issues for internal clients.
- Manage cabling infrastructure, including fiber optics and structured cabling systems.
- Document network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with system administrators to ensure seamless integration of network services.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Proficiency with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and OSPF.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on detail.
- Ability to lift and carry networking equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
