As a Network Technician at TechFlow, you will play a critical role in maintaining the digital backbone of our operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies, troubleshoot issues, and provide top-tier support to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance, traffic, and security to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patch management to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable network solutions and VLAN configurations.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network-related issues and best practices.
- Conduct network audits and document configurations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.
- Familiarity with VPNs, VLANs, and network security protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex network issues under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
