Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security best practices
- Generate security metrics reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and MITRE ATT&CK framework
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in Splunk, Wireshark, and Nessus tools
- Familiarity with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and SIEM tuning
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
