Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Maintain and update network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform regular network audits to ensure security compliance and optimal performance.
- Respond to and resolve network outages and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Document network infrastructure changes and configurations for future reference.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement network upgrades and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in network installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and routing protocols.
- Proficiency with cabling standards (Cat5e, Cat6) and physical network hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
