The Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of our network infrastructure. From initial installation to complex troubleshooting, your expertise will be vital to our success.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) hardware and software.
- Perform network cabling, fiber splicing, and rack and stack server infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and security breaches.
- Monitor network traffic and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical systems.
- Document network topology changes and update technical manuals.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve escalated technical tickets.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in network administration or telecommunications.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, and switching protocols.
- Experience with VoIP systems, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
