The Role:
We are looking for an individual who thrives in a high-impact environment. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring our cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Design: Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA) and managing IAM policies.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize cloud resources to reduce costs and improve latency.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Collaboration: Partner with software developers and DevOps teams to define requirements for new cloud applications.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Containers: Deep understanding of container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
- Scripting: Expert level scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert is a plus.
