Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement proactive solutions
- Document network configurations and create SOPs for operational procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network integrations
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network incidents
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or Network Engineering + 3+ years experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expertise in Cisco/Juniper infrastructure and SD-WAN technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Ability to work flexible hours for maintenance windows
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
