Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless network infrastructure.
- Perform physical cabling tasks, including structured cabling, fiber optic termination, and termination of copper cables.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts efficiently.
- Document all work orders, network diagrams, and system configurations accurately using our management software.
- Conduct routine network audits and perform preventative maintenance to ensure system uptime and security.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide top-tier customer service.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network administration or field service.
- Proven experience with cabling standards (TIA/EIA-568), routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
