Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform regular network audits to ensure security compliance and optimize system performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Manage network documentation, including diagrams and inventory logs.
- Respond to IT tickets and provide timely technical support to end-users.
- Ensure network uptime and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+ are highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, and routing.
- Familiarity with cabling standards (Cat5e, Cat6) and installation tools.
