Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Diagnose and resolve network hardware and software issues with minimal downtime.
- Implement and manage firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure data security.
- Conduct regular network audits, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with system administrators and engineering teams to support major IT projects.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
