Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware upgrades and service contracts
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to end-users
- Perform regular network backups and disaster recovery testing
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and wireless protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
