Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve issues
- Document network configurations, changes, and security protocols
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for system outages and security incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration and infrastructure upgrades
- Implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Train end-users on network best practices and security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling requirements
