Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools like Wireshark
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Document network configurations and maintenance activities in IT service management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network optimization projects
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for enterprise clients
- Conduct network performance monitoring and capacity planning
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or 3+ years equivalent experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong analytical skills for complex troubleshooting scenarios
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Tennessee driver's license for occasional on-site visits
