Responsibilities
- Network Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Infrastructure Management: Perform cable management, terminate fiber and copper cabling, and manage rack and stack server environments.
- Technical Support: Provide tier 2+ technical support for network-related issues, including VPN troubleshooting, firewall configuration, and Wi-Fi optimization.
- Security & Audits: Apply security patches, update firmware, and conduct routine network audits to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in network administration or IT support.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VLANs.
- Hardware Proficiency: Experience with routers, switches, firewalls (Palo Alto/Cisco), and VoIP systems.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours and be available for on-call support as needed.
